Wendy HaynesQuotation MarkI love my work and have been passionate about celebrancy since I was appointed in 1995.
It's been an inspiring and rewarding journey working side by side with many couples and families creating personal, unique and heartwarming ceremonies that have touched not only the couple but everyone present.
Whether your celebration is a wedding ceremony, name giving ceremony, funeral, birthday celebration, or any other of life's 'touchpoints', I can help you to make it unforgettable, exciting, relaxed and friendly and, most of all, fun and inspiring."Wendy Haynes Signature

The World Peace Flame

Friday, February 12, 2010 While in Snowdonia I stayed at the Life Foundation Centre where the World Peace Flame is located.

The following information comes from The World Peace Flame website.

"The World Peace Flame is dedicated to achieving peace through a process of education and the practical support of grassroots peace initiatives. We aim to inspire people everywhere that the individual plays a crucial role in creating peace, at every level. We are an independent charitable organisation based in The Netherlands.

Our dream is as simple as it is ambitious: to light an eternally burning World Peace Flame in every major city or decision-making centre in the world. It is a dream we’ve cherished since 1999 when we created our first Flames of Peace on five continents around the world. We then flew each flame to Wales and combined them to create the World Peace Flame. This unique event showed an extraordinary level of goodwill and generosity on the part of all participants, including the military and commercial airlines that carried the flames to the United Kingdom.

Today World Peace Flames burn in thousands of homes, schools, workplaces, hospitals and places of worship around the world. The number of World Peace Flames continues to grow as we present international decision makers with flames, as well as installing flames in monuments in major cities worldwide."
