Somewhere Over the Rainbow

A popular song for funerals and this week it was chosen to commence the funeral ceremony for Greg Blain.

The family chose the version played by Israel ‘IZ’ Kamakawiwo’ole. In this video, at 2.37minutes you can see the paddle out organised for Israel’s scattering of ashes—a very moving expression of love, care and community. Mourning and celebration.
