As I woke, I could hear the rain outside my window. Steady ground soaking wonderful for the garden nurturance. In my swimmers, I walked out onto the beach. Alone. The ocean was warm as I floated on my back. I opened my mouth to catch the falling drops and saw the sea eagle circle over the headland.
Shunryu Suzuki says,
“When my master and I were walking in the rain, he would say, ‘Do not walk so fast, the rain is everywhere.’”
