Come with us to Kakadu, August 2026

Time moves differently in Bilkbilkmi Gorge. Something in the stillness, the spaciousness, the unhurried presence of the land invites us to slow down too. The walk through Country and along the gorge, swimming in ancient pools, sitting around a fire under star filled skies, all nourishment for just being.

As Cassie and I begin shaping the 2026 retreat, we’re holding close the essence of what makes this walk special: simplicity, connection, and a deep trust in the wisdom of place.

This isn’t a retreat of rigid schedules or long hours of formal practice. It’s an invitation to meet the landscape, and yourself, just as you are.  In 2026, we’ll again walk through the Bilbilkmi Gorge, pausing for mindful moments, shared conversations, and quiet reflections. We’ll camp in stunning places. I’ll offer practices that help anchor us into presence, but the true teacher is the land itself,  its calm, its clarity, its ancient generosity. The walking is not always easy: there’s rock scrambling, meandering through bush, uphill sections, however, our guide Cassie, ensures we are safe, supported and cared for. She totally loves this place and wants to share it with you.

If you’re longing for a walking retreat that feels grounded and real, a spacious nine days to breathe deeply, reconnect, and let the land do its work, you’re welcome to join us.
