Come join me at the AFCC National Conference in Adelaide

I am honoured to have been invited by the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants (AFCC) to speak at their 2022 National Conference—Sunday 24th July to Wednesday 27th July 2022.

The Conference will open on Monday 25th with dancer, writer, stockbroker, family man, Li Cunxin as the Keynote Speaker—The Power of Story.

After Li Cunxin’s session, there will be a panel discussion on developing skills to respond to challenging circumstances. I will then share stories, inspiration and insights around diversity and inclusion in ceremonies. After lunch I will host an enactment of one or two ceremonies. On the following day, I will facilitate two sessions—Mindfulness: Supporting Individuals to Engage in Honest Conversations.

On Monday afternoon the wonderful Doris Zagdanski will offer a session on Grief and Children. Doris has worked in the field of grief education. There are also other amazing speakers who are presenting—here is the CelebrationsMagazine_Issue_125_2022 Conference Edition that has the full list of speakers and the program.

Here are the wonderful Conference core planning team: Sandie Meyer, Gill Potter (Convenor), Chris Byrnes and Michael Elwood ready to delight you with many more inspiring sessions, warm friendship and good fun! I hope you will join us.  You can register and get more details by emailing conference@afcc.com.au

The Mission of this conference is to inspire and challenge participants through conversations about diversity in all its forms and its inclusion in ceremonies.
I am so excited to be attending and look forward to Wendy’s presentations along with all the other diverse speakers at what will be an amazing number of days.

What an inspirational and exciting line up of speakers for this conference. It just has to be the most professionally enriching program I have experienced at an AFCC Conference and it is fabulous that Wendy is able to make such a huge contribution. Her generosity of spirit in offering so much is deeply appreciated. Consider her along with Li Cunxin, Doris Zagdanski and a list of other professional presenters in the break out sessions, and we have a recipe for an invaluable experience. The social program is fantastic too!!
