“Thank you for the learning and wisdom I received as part of your On-line funerals and memorials work last year. Learnings that I put into use to create a wonderful Zoom Memorial last week. It was attended by friends around the world and the feedback has been just fantastic.” Helen Rutledge, Celebrant, New Zealand

Thank you, Wendy, for your wonderful teaching, resources, wisdom and example in leading on-line memorial services. As you know, I attended your on-line funeral role-plays and studied your Learning Guide for On-line Funerals and Memorials as part of my Professional Development last year. This gave me the confidence to offer an on-line memorial gathering for a small group  who wanted to honour and remember a mutual friend who died unexpectedly last month. We are a group of 18 who trained together some 50 years ago, and are scattered all over the world, so an on-line gathering was the perfect option. The feedback afterwards was fantastic… participants especially loved the structure, the opportunity for everyone to share and the symbolic use of candles, flowers and photos / meaningful objects. They also appreciated the guidance given prior to our gathering on using Zoom and having someone they knew they could call on for help if the IT didn’t go to plan! I absolutely recommend both the medium and your resources to anyone wishing to honour / remember a loved one from afar. Heartfelt thanks!   Helen Rutledge, Celebrant, New Zealand
